The Archeological Museum sits over roman ruins, over a temple that was constructed. In this museum you can see parts of Almuñecar´s past as well as part of the Costa Tropical.

Objects found in the Roman Necropolis, objects from the fish curing factories of El Majuelo, eqyptian pieces dated back to the XIII b.c century, funeral object such as urns, or funerary garments...as well as phoenician art.
