Almuñecar is a paradise for trekking lovers. We are amongst innumeralbe possibilities for people who enjoy this type of activity. It is a place where you can trek through natural and outdoor spaces, either on the mountain or on the coast.

To start off we can take one of the most frequented paths by trekkers. The denominated Costa-Granada-Ensenada de la Herradura-Punta de la Mona, is a simple path, of a short distance and it is done on the beach. From it we can visit the Cueva de los Gigantes, La Cueva de los Genoveses (caves), and the cliffs with their incredible views. This is a higly transited path during the summer months.


Another route you can do is from Salobreña-Almuñecar, a route that goes along the costa Granadina, easy and lasts about 3 hours.
